Winter's Coming

I got up early this morning (4:30 EST) and headed out to snag a few shots in the Smokies. Yesterday's rain did a pretty good job wiping out the remaining foliage, so I was a little disappointed there. But if you look carefully, there's always something begging to be photographed. (Isn't that part of what photographers do - we find the shots nature provides and get to share in capturing a moment of time?)

I'm pretty tired this afternoon but it was definitely worth the drive.
